Leitaria da Quinta do Paço

In 1920, Leitaria da Quinta do Paço started producing milk, butter, cheese and whipped cream. At this time, it established itself as the first company in the sector to distribute pasteurized milk in glass bottles, at a time when distribution was made in jars that the Porto salespeople carried over their heads. Year after year it was gaining fame and imposing the quality of its products that remains today. Salted butter sold by weight, in parchment paper, remains a classic, as are cheeses and whipped cream. In fact, whipped cream quickly gained unprecedented fame. Sold over the counter, in waxed paper bags, in the fifties it was the star of what would become the brand's ex-libris: the Éclair with chocolate coating. The constant quality, the daily production always fresh and limited to the existing stock confirm a success story.
